The Receiving Clerk performs a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control, stockroom, kitting, expediting, and shipping and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures.
Role & Responsibilities:
Receives, unpacks, and examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, invoices, and other records.
Counts and compares quantity PN and SN amongst other data against PO/RO order
Processes receipts and delivery of material from suppliers to other areas of the facility.
Depending on country of receipt, performs due diligence in accordance with global trade prior to inbound.
Interfaces with all levels of repair personnel as required. Coordinates with other areas of the facility to determine packing material needs.
Takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with.
Looks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace.
Audits work area for safety compliance
Performs other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.
Must have previous computer experience and knowledge/understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and ability to learn new software programs
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds, position requires both sit/stand for long periods of time.
Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to focus on task.
